Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Inside Sales position for our Oliver location. The successful candidate should excel in customer service, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Job Title: Inside Sales
Location: 5830 Sawmill Road, Oliver, BC
Job purpose: This position\xe2\x80\x99s primary responsibilities are to increase sales and profitability by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers primarily through phone and email.
Key Performance Indicators
- Customer Service \xe2\x80\x93 strong relationships are being built and maintained.
- Sales \xe2\x80\x93 Total sales and margin goals are set and met.
- Technical knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 training (product knowledge and application) goals are set and met.
- Teamwork \xe2\x80\x93 communicating, mentoring, networking, and helping other team members, departments, or locations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized attention to each customer, providing the best in quality service and value.
- Take ownership of key accounts with face-to-face interactions, company swag, showing interest in their projects, etc
- Answer customer inquiries via phone and email and process sales orders.
- Work effectively within customer relationship management (CRM) software (creating leads, following up on leads, turning leads into orders, following up on purchases)
- Monitor quote success rates and watch for trends; reporting details on reasons for unsuccessful quotes in CRM software for sales lead review.
- Attend year-round training sessions and product knowledge seminars, pursue industry certifications when training and testing is available
- Work with team mates to learn, mentor, and assist with workload

- Working understanding of costs, pricing, margin, mark-up, and currencies
