The ideal candidate will be an experienced inside sales professional with a track record of successful customer relationships, a drive to exceed expectations and a keen ability to make even the hardest-to-please clients love us. A career history that includes working collaboratively , particularly in the promotional products or event planning industry will help put your resume to the top of the heap. If you're an experienced Inside Sales Rep, wired to get great results for every one of your customers, we want to meet you!In general, this role will be accountable for working at the direction of the Sales Manager to manage orders, provide quotations, coordinate the materials and review the website content - all in the name of accelerating our sales trajectory. This role requires a passion for details, a sense of urgency and the desire to delight the customer.At pc/nametag, a part of Avery Products Canada, our customers plan some of the largest meetings and conventions across the country. You will work with customers through email, live chat and phone to manage the details of their orders from start to finish. You will play a vital role in making the customer's job easier, while helping to make their events a success - all in a very fast-paced environment. You must be passionate about providing customers with exceptional service!Education, Skills and Competencies Required: Secondary School Diploma required 2+ years strong customer service and order management experience Experience working in promotional products and / or event planning industry an asset Experience with online chat and eCommerce / web sales Experience with soft sales in a call centre, preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and Word Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and customer service skills Self-motivated, self-directed, goal oriented, and well organized individual who is comfortable working independently and who can handle and drive multiple deadline projects simultaneously Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, prioritization, problem solving and root cause analysis skills Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and be a team player Proven ability to work independently Ability to work flexible hours to support customers across Canada Ability to travel across North America to attend trade shows and events as required Bilingual French / English as assetResponsibilities: Enter and manage multiple orders at a time. Make order adjustments per customer requests; work with other departments to ensure changes are made and that customer deadlines are met Handle incoming request from customers by phone, email, chat and make informed recommendations based on knowledge of products and services Work with customers on product selection, product pricing and availability, shipping inquiries and order status questions Ensure accuracy of orders and quotes before release Handle escalations and to work with customer and internal team to find solutions Resolve any issues directly affecting business needs in Manager's absence (phone, web, email, etc) Clearly communicate issues and work toward resolution regarding web, pricing, sales tools, etc with Manager and other internal team members Ensure there is coverage on the phones and email from 9:00am to 5:00pm Oversee daily department workflow when Manager is not on site Research and resolve customer billing issues in a timely manner Document accounts and ensure follow up and relationship building is effective Effectively work with Sales on all matters to ensure customer satisfaction Recommend process and products improvements or changes. Inform Manager regarding trends in customer emails and issues Assist in maintenance of the customer contact database Assist with the assembly of trade show materials Attend trade shows as needed Provide support in project work, other special requests and duties as assigned Consistently work in a safe manner and maintain a clean work area Adhere to safe work practices, instructions and rules.
