Job Summary:

Teledyne FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions (IIS), a division of Teledyne FLIR, is one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading manufacturers of machine vision digital cameras. Our cameras are vital components in the fast growing, transformative industries of robotics, solar inspection, semiconductor, medical and life sciences, ITS, virtual reality, retail and mass transit.

We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Inside sales Manager to assist in our growth in customer segments and new product portfolios .. The individual will be responsible for help in driving new bookings and help drive strategies for rapid market share expansion. Working in collaboration with key functions of sales, product management, strategy, engineering, manufacturing and marketing to drive commercial efforts on key business initiatives that develop consistent revenue stream for our product and services portfolio.

The successful candidate will be strategic, critical thinker, persuasive and well organized with high degree of business acumen and able to demonstrate the ability to build new markets.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue & profitability by executing on strategic initiatives around 80/20, margin optimization and new product initiatives .
  • Increase market awareness and develop close relationship with industry influencers, potential client and key stakeholders to articulate company\xe2\x80\x99s vision, technology roadmap and competitive advantage. Ensure effective internal sharing of insights
  • Work in collaboration with Product Management, R&D and Engineering teams to drive the development and testing of new verticals and applications. Consider new technology or market trends that will impact our business
  • Coordinate global product promotion schedules by working closely with regional sales and marketing management.
  • Create strong relationships with internal and external stake holders. Understand and effectively communicate the company\'s value prop, tech, process, and current partnerships.
  • Work with internal teams on behalf of customers to ensure the highest level of customer service while helping internal teams to resolve issues for the customers.
  • Assist sales team in negotiation of terms and deal closing to maximize business value
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, sales and marketing, and/or engineering
  • 5+ years of B2B sales, strategy Experience and experience in the Machine Vision industry is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of increasing revenue
  • Entrepreneurial orientation. Must like to build, run things, open doors and hunt for new business opportunities
  • Strong business acumen, ability to think strategically and to analyze market trends
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relation and networking skills
  • Experience with enterprise-level CRM and ERP systems and proficient computer skills and ability to manipulate data for analysis and reporting.
Fluency in English (Additional language skills are an asset)

Preferred position location: Richmond, Canada.

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
