Rubicon is a next-generation education company delivering award-winning learning solutions for Kindergarten to Grade 12. We are looking for someone who will support our Sales Director as the Client Sales Representative. The ideal candidate is as a dynamic, highly-organized individual who excels in cultivating relationships in a fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities and Scope
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Rubicon, a Savvas Company products and services directly to the K-12 educational market in Canada. Working to support the Sales Director and with the broader sales and marketing team, you will be selling the Rubicon portfolio via phone, email, and virtual meetings to customers across the country. The role is both administrative and sales oriented in nature, and you will be responsible to generate leads and revenue in order to achieve overall growth and corporate sales objectives.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Managing and maintaining up-to-date customer data
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Sales prospecting and closing
  • Managing incoming leads and distributing leads to the wider team
  • Generating leads, subsequent opportunities, and sales from liaising with the wider team
  • Supporting the external sales team
  • Building deep, long-term relationships with existing customers
  • Participating in market research and strategic planning with the sales and marketing team
  • Other duties, as assigned
What Success Looks Like
  • You have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited university
  • You have 3+ years of experience in teaching, educational publishing, or a related field
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and excel at building relationships
  • You are detail oriented and highly organized
  • You thrive on achieving and exceeding targets
  • You are a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills
