As we continue to expand, we have implemented an e-commerce system allowing our sales to take place nationally. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales and E-Commerce Representative to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an ambitious Inside Sales and E-Commerce Representative to drive sales growth and build lasting relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal raw material sales or a related industry and be comfortable working with computers and taking customer calls as required. The successful candidate will effectively collaborate with our inside sales team and e-commerce partners. This role will adapt to develop new business and find business efficiencies within the sales and warehousing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide product recommendations and technical support to clients based on their needs
Process sales orders, prepare quotes, and follow up on customer inquiries
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Monitor industry trends, pricing, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market
Identify and target new e-commerce business opportunities
Monitor online store orders, ensuring timely processing and fulfillment of orders through collaboration with the sales and warehousing teams
Update e-commerce site, helping to maintain product listings including promotional pricing
Assist with the execution of email campaigns to promote products and develop repeat sales
Help our team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
Qualifications:
Experience as a sales representative, preferably in metal raw materials or a related industry
Understanding of e-commerce platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you are a team player
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, experience with SM3 is an asset
