Hours: 40 hrs per week (Mon to Fri) Vacancy Type: Full-time permanent post Work location: Based mainly on-site with potential hybrid working for 1 or 2 days per week. Travel: Limited travel to USA and across Canada to support tradeshows and for customer visits. Clearance: Eligible for Secret Pay: $60,000-$75,000 CDN (subject to experience) + Bonuses + Benefits

JOB SUMMARY & PERSON SPECIFICATION
As the Inside Sales Manager for the NPA Canada business unit (including the United States and Canadian territories); you will be operating as a point of contact for the North America Sales Team, Resellers, Distributors and a variety of other local Customers. With a proven track record of selling products and services, you will deliver a high level of customer service to clients and potential customers, reaching the sales goals and targets outlined for the position through excellent telephone sales and communication skills. This individual will also develop his or her revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing customers - predominantly personal protection solutions (Ballistic Plates, Shields, Helmets, and EOD Suits). The successful candidate will also be required to develop, service, and grow relationships with channel partners (Distributors, Re-Sellers and Agents). You will be required to support the Business Development / Sales Team in developing sales strategies and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, negotiating with channel partners and training and developing their sales team. You will be responsible for managing the network of NPA channel partners, in North America, and ensure that all relevant background checks and due diligence has been carried out and that Non-Disclosure Agreements have been signed and approved. You will be required to develop the current network to cover all relevant geographical regions and NPA products to maximize distribution sales objectives. The performance of each channel partner is to be monitored so that the performance of each can be recorded and assessed to ensure each is working in the best interests of the company and that all sales objectives and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are met. You will be responsible for generating quotes and supporting the North America Sales Team with customer management (as assigned). You will need to liaise with Commercial, Procurement, Production and Business Development Team to achieve the Customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements on time. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and develop, service, and grow relationships with channel partners (Distributors, Re-Sellers, and Agents).
  • Point of Contact for orders from assigned Customers for COTS/Distribution, maintaining positive relations with Customers by personal, phone and written communication relative to status of orders and specific concerns or issues.
  • Building Customer relations on new and routine/project opportunities, including (but not limited to) EOD Bomb Suits, Helmets, Armour Systems, and personnel protection body armour requirements, ensuring all Customer expectations and NPA obligations are met.
  • Assisting Customers with information about their existing orders, stock availability, general queries
  • Prepare all aspects of price list quotations to Customers (in collaboration with the Sales Managers) on new and routine/project opportunities, ensuring all proposals are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Upselling products where applicable and make recommendations to customers.
  • Closing sales and as part of the team achieve company sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Management of accounts and quotes on CRM tool (Pipedrive)
  • Responding to customer complaints, warranty claims, or quality concerns quickly and efficiently utilizing NPA processes
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, training and other sales actions on existing portfolio

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS
  • University or college degree in Business Administration, Sales, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Significant experience in a sales environment or previous background in law enforcement/military.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience of establishing/managing strategic relationships.
