Paradox Vancouver is seeking a polished and service-driven In-Room Dining Server for PM shifts to join our dynamic F&B team. This role is essential in supporting evening operations, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverage orders, and elevating the guest experience during one of the hotel's busiest service periods.

Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and professionally to guest rooms during evening service.
Uphold Paradox Vancouver's high service standards through accurate order verification and polished tray/table setup.
Communicate professionally with guests, anticipate needs, and provide recommendations when requested.
Maintain efficient pacing and delivery timing, especially during high-occupancy nights or event-driven peak hours.
Support evening tray pick-ups and ensure hallways and service areas remain clean and organized.
Work closely with the kitchen, Front Office, and Banquets to ensure smooth and coordinated service flow.
Handle guest concerns or service recovery situations with confidence and courtesy; escalate when required.
Assist with restocking and evening preparation of service pantries, carts, and operational supplies.
Manage guest checks accurately and follow payment procedures.
Support closing procedures and end-of-shift tasks to ensure readiness for the next day.
Qualification and Experience
Required:
Food Safe Level 1 & Serving It Right certification
Previous food & beverage or customer service experience (hotel environment an asset)
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Strong communication skills with excellent command of English
Ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently and maintain composure under pressure
Assets:
Previous In-Room Dining or Banquet service experience
Luxury hotel experience
Professional grooming and service presence consistent with a luxury hotel
Team-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision during PM shifts
