Adding to our team: In-house bookkeeper

We are seeking a

detail-oriented Bookkeeper

who loves organizing paperwork and keeping financial records accurate and up to date. You will play a key role in managing both our digital accounting system and our physical filing, ensuring that our operations stay compliant, efficient, and well-organized.

Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile accounts in

QuickBooks Online

Organize and file

receipts, invoices, and financial paperwork

Process payroll entries and government remittances (HST/GST, source deductions) Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Prepare monthly reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with accountants Keep both

physical and digital filing systems

tidy and up to date Identify discrepancies and proactively flag missing information

Qualifications

Diploma/certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Administration 2-5 years of bookkeeping experience (small business or professional services preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

and Excel Experience with receipt management tools (Dext, Hubdoc, or similar) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
