In-house Full-Cycle Bookkeeper

Toronto EAST We are an Importer of Wines & Spirits and the role is at our office at Don Mills and Lawrence. Not remote work.
We can be flexible with work days and times for the right candidate, preference, Mon-Tues-Wed. The candidate should be available 2-3 days per week (20-30 hours per week), the position is primarily a bookkeeper role, and has the potential to develop to a full time role with the right candidate with strong social media and marketing experience. Must be able to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Full-cycle accounting required + using Quick Books Pro, a must.

Experience with receivables, cost recoveries and working with foreign currencies accounts (No payroll, this is outsourced to Ceridian) Strong analytical skills, forecasting, promotional budgeting + managing AP $expenditures Advanced knowledge of MS Office with more emphasis placed on EXCEL Previous working experience in a small office environment and the ability to work independently and in a team is key! Someone with a love for numbers + people + wine! Written and spoken English a must (French/Italian/Spanish useful) Experience with LCBO and/or the Wine & Spirits industry and would be very beneficial
