Key Responsibilities:
Handle
accounts payable and receivable
Manage
bank reconciliations
and
monthly financial reporting
Prepare and file
HST/GST, WSIB, payroll remittances
Process
bi-weekly payroll
and maintain employee records
Maintain
general ledger
and ensure accuracy in all entries
Assist in
budget preparation and financial forecasting
Work with external accountants for
year-end closing and audits
Requirements:
2-5 years of accounting experience (preferably in a similar industry)
Strong understanding of Canadian tax regulations and payroll
Proficient in
QuickBooks
,
Sage
, or similar accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
CPA designation is an asset but not mandatory
