Ingenieur(e) de mise en service

JLL est a la recherche d'un(e) Ingenieur(e) en AQ/CQ de construction et mise en service electrique (Cx) situe(e) dans la region metropolitaine de Montreal afin de fournir un soutien fiable, opportun et efficace a notre equipe de centres de donnees / installations critiques.



Ce poste implique de travailler avec un groupe diversifie d'intervenants internes et externes a tous les niveaux de l'organisation du projet, et exige un jugement independant pour planifier, prioriser et organiser une charge de travail diversifiee dans un environnement en evolution rapide. La personne retenue sera orientee vers les details avec de solides competences organisationnelles et possedera un esprit d'equipe.



Ce role necessitera des deplacements jusqu'a 25% vers les sites clients a travers le Canada et les Etats-Unis.



CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS



Expertise en mise en service

Maitrise des directives, processus et livrables de mise en service ASHRAE pour les projets d'installations critiques.



Connaissance des systemes techniques

Expertise en systemes electriques et connaissance pratique des systemes mecaniques/plomberie incluant les activites d'installation, de demarrage, de test et de mise en service.



Gestion des parties prenantes

Collaborer avec les entrepreneurs generaux, sous-traitants, inspecteurs et autorites competentes pour executer les programmes d'AQ/CQ et de mise en service.



Leadership de projet

Demontrer de solides fonctions de gestion et techniques tout au long de toutes les phases du projet, de la conception a la post-construction.



Mise en service sur le terrain

Executer des activites basees sur le terrain incluant les visites de site, tests de demarrage, tests fonctionnels et tests de systemes integres.



Documentation et planification

Developper des plans de mise en service, specifications, procedures de test, procedures operationnelles standard, et compiler la documentation du projet dans les manuels de systeme.



Maitrise technologique

Experience avec les applications logicielles de mise en service telles que BIM360, CxAlloy, Facility Grid et outils d'AQ/CQ connexes.



Responsabilite complete du projet

Soutenir toutes les exigences de documentation du projet et activites sur le terrain tout en assurant la conformite des entrepreneurs et maximisant l'efficacite de l'equipe.



CE QUE VOUS APPORTEREZ

Au moins 5 ans d'experience en ingenierie electrique et/ou essais sur le terrain, incluant un minimum de 3 ans d'experience en mise en service de batiments et/ou en assurance qualite/controle qualite (AQ/CQ) de construction.



Un diplome en ingenierie ou technique d'un programme accredite ABET est prefere mais non requis.



Posseder une certification de Professionnel de mise en service ou certification de test NETA d'une autorite industrielle reconnue.



Une designation d'Ing./PE ou PMP est consideree comme un atout majeur pour ce role, mais non requise.



Capacite d'utiliser des compteurs et equipements de tests electriques, d'analyser et de rediger des rapports de resultats incluant : compteurs de qualite de puissance (PQM), thermographie, tests NETA, tests de mise a la terre, tests hi-pot, tests megger, etc.



Expertise en essais et mise en service d'equipements electriques critiques : transformateurs de services publics, systemes UPS, generateurs, equipements de commutation et parallelisme automatise (ATS/STS), systemes de carburant, PDU, EPMS et autres systemes de generation/distribution electrique



Excellentes aptitudes de communication ecrite et orale (parfait bilinguisme francais-anglais)*



Competences avancees en MS Project, Word et Excel



Experience prealable en consultation ou organisation proprietaire constitue un atout



Interactions orales et/ou ecrites avec des locataires, touristes ou partenaires externes bases a l'exterieur du Quebec (par exemple, fournisseurs de services, cabinets d'avocats, pairs, banquiers, firmes de courtage, firmes d'analyse de credit, agences de credits, clientele non-francophone, etc.)

Commissioning Engineer

JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Construction QA/QC and Electrical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer located in the Montreal metro area to provide reliable, timely, efficient support to our Data Center / Mission Critical team.



This position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the project organization, and requires independent judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and possess a team player attitude.



This role will require travel up to 25% to client sites across Canada and USA



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR



Commissioning Expertise

Fluency with ASHRAE commissioning guidelines, processes, and deliverables for critical facility projects.



Technical Systems Knowledge

Expertise in electrical systems and working knowledge of mechanical/plumbing systems including installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.



Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with General Contractors, sub-contractors, inspectors, and AHJs to execute QA/QC and commissioning programs.



Project Leadership

Demonstrate strong management and technical functions throughout all project phases from design through post-construction.



Field Commissioning

Execute field-based activities including site visits, startup testing, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.



Documentation & Planning

Develop commissioning plans, specifications, test procedures, SOPs, and compile project documentation into system manuals.



Technology Proficiency

Experience with commissioning software applications such as BIM360, CxAlloy, Facility Grid, and related QA/QC tools.



Full Project Accountability

Support all project documentation requirements and field activities while ensuring contractor compliance and maximizing team efficiency.



WHAT YOU WILL BRING

A minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience with minimum of 3 years in providing building commissioning and/or construction QA/QC and Commissioning field services



An engineering or technical degree from an ABET accredited program is preferred but not required.



Possess a Commissioning Professional certification or NETA testing certification from a recognized industry authority



Prof Eng/PE or PMP designation is considered a strong asset for this role, but not required.



Ability to use electrical testing meters and equipment and analyze and report on test results including Power Quality Meters (PQM), thermography, NETA tests, ground tests, hi-pot, megger, etc.



Knowledge and experience in testing Utility transformers, UPS systems, generators and associated automated paralleling switchgear, ATSs and STSs, Fuel Oil systems, PDUs, EPMS, and other electrical power generation and distribution systems



Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fully bilingual in French and English)*



Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel



Experience working in a consultancy or owner organization is an asset



Oral and/or written interactions with tenants, tourists or external partners based outside Quebec (for example, service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, non-French-speaking clients, etc.)
