(Internal Title: Project Controls IV)
+ Responsible for leading a team of Project Controls personnel in a coordinated manner on medium-risk, large-size projects, or elements on larger programs including directing the work of project staff under their project supervision, such that Project Controls services are completed as planned
+ Implement, maintain, and apply typical and appropriate means and methods of project controls processes and interfaces from the inception of the project or program portfolio to the completion
+ Create and manage short and long-term project controls service goals and success criteria for projects or programs
+ Responsible for the human and material resources required to deliver project controls services successfully
+ Contribute to managing the project controls team per the project plans and governance
+ Manage a project controls team leveraging a diverse array of talents and delegation of responsibilities
+ Recommend success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle
+ Facilitate changes and interventions to ensure project controls service goals are achieved
+ Plan for and meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent
+ Support the production of accurate and timely reporting of project controls including status and performance throughout its life cycle
+ Review and ensure adherence to the project controls services operating or delivery plan, scope, schedule, milestones, budgets, and KPIs and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate while raising red flags as needed
+ Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, and key stakeholders
+ Understand the entire scope of the assignment and support scope change negotiations
+ Enforce acceptable standards of workmanship in project controls through every stage of the work
+ Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and an overall 'right-first-time" mindset
+ Monitor and manage clear and focused staff performance objectives on the project or program to ensure excellence in results
+ Promote an environment that is inclusive, and diverse and celebrates our differences
+ Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Controls V or higher in an efficient and timely manner
+ Fill in any project controls roles if needed Working Conditions
+ Hybrid - The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely or onsite at a client site
10-20 years of experience in Project Controls
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team in a senior capacity
EPC and Owner side experience
Heavy Industrial experience such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or Mining is considered an asset
Bachelor's degree in Program, Project, or Commercial Management or a related field
Holding recognized certification with one or more of these professional institutions: Project Management Institute (PMI), American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE)
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Thorough knowledge in Scheduling Software (e.g. P6), Cost Software (e.g. Ecosys), etc.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent competency in identifying and minimizing risks
Ability to detect and capitalize on others' strengths
Strong supervision, delegation, and capacity development
Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies in Project Controls and Project Management software
Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving sensitive information (written and verbal)
Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit -- in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
