Position Description
The IT Infrastructure Architect at TTI Canada will be responsible for Platform Infrastructure, Transition and Transformation Management. This is an opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious technology professional with strong business presence to make a real difference in a rapidly growing organization by building a future proof technical foundation will support where this organization will be ahead of when it gets there. This will be a hands-on strategic support position responsible for design, architecture and leading execution while performing key transformation activities. We are looking for candidates with a broad background in infrastructure architecture and delivery best practices, including cloud delivery. The candidate must demonstrate a proven track-record in infrastructure service delivery for business and the ability to learn quickly as technology advances, new innovations and offerings enter the market.

What You Will Do\xe2\x80\xa6

• Design and implement the infrastructure architecture strategy, governance and transformation roadmap from current state to Enterprise future state to establish a one-TTI infrastructure across a multi-domain, multi-tenant environment
• Maintain comprehensive infrastructure solutions that incorporate strategic target state architecture and standards to maximize performance, capacity, and minimize total cost of ownership with consideration for security, availability, performance, and monitoring
• Drive business productivity by identifying and developing technology process improvement and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance of solutions to operations roadmap
• Provide technical leadership and be responsible for developing overall systems design
• Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business requirements into sound technical solutions
• Work with application owners and SME\xe2\x80\x99s to influence and shape the strategic direction and target state infrastructure architecture
• Lead architecture initiatives to build roadmaps for continuous modernization of Enterprise Application platforms
• Educate the business representatives, build, and support teams on standards, processes, and tools
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend business directions based on these technologies
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made impacting technology, demonstrating consideration for safeguarding the business and its assets
• Hands-on infrastructure network design, build, configuration and administration a strong asset

• A self-starter who has deep understanding and experience in infrastructure architecture
• Capable of working in a growth-oriented environment, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests, projects and responsibilities
• Proven track record of leveraging vendor and consultant expertise for IT project delivery and support
• Proactive, able to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions with strong problem-solving skills using an analytical approach
• Leadership and internal customer / external vendor relationship management skills

What You Will Bring\xe2\x80\xa6

• 10+ years of overall IT / technical services experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience of working in IT infrastructure architecture
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Strong experience with On-Prem / Private / Public / Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure services and tools or Opensource
• At least 1 Infrastructure Advanced Certification (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, RedHat, etc.) or hyperscale Advanced Certification (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• TOGAF Certification or equivalent is an asset
• Exceptional understanding of ITIL processes, IT systems infrastructure and best practices
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in compute and networking technologies (LAN, WAN, WLAN) with enterprise networking systems (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Meraki)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure, Unified Communications, PowerApps & Power Automate platform)
• Knowledge of main hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V) and network virtualization (NSX, etc.)
• Experience with automation and Orchestration of infrastructure operational processes (Ansible, BMC, VMware, Red Hat, etc.)
• Experience with Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Familiar with main operating systems (Linux and Windows) and middleware (app servers, webservers, databases and others)
• Fundamental understanding of Web Technologies (Web Servers, Application Servers, Load Balancers)
• Experience with data, analytics and reporting technologies (Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, etc.)
• Project management experience in an infrastructure-oriented environment
• Solid understanding of technical contracts, financials and delivery management tied to outcomes of enabling business productivity
