We are currently expanding and looking to add a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating information systems to fit within existing systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing systems to ensure security and efficacy.
• Maintain and upgrade software, hardware, and networks as needed.
• Recommend improvements or alternative technologies to better meet business needs.
• Design, review and integrate new systems.
• Drive holistic design & patterns for secure cloud application environments, Cloud platform enhancements, application architecture, data services, and cloud service integrations.
• Conduct technical audits of existing architectures (Infrastructure, Performance, Developing data security as a function of design, as well as Scalability and more).
• Architect and implement cloud solutions for various application architectures, and programmatic integration of cloud applications, data services, and infrastructure.

• 8+ years of IT experience \xe2\x80\x93 minimum 5 years of architecting, engineering, or designing enterprise technologies within the areas of computer, network, storage, and security is required.
• Proven experience in leading architecture of large program from initiation to implementation.
• Expert knowledge and development of infrastructure deployment patterns and reference architectures.
• Working knowledge of financial applications as well as host-based systems.
• Experience in developing systems architecture and solutions in a geographically dispersed team environment.
• Experience with Vmware ESXI, Cisco and Fortigate firewalls.
• Expert documentation, written and verbal communication skills.

• Public Cloud platforms competencies (Microsoft Azure Platform, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform) would be an asset.
• Expertise in data center and branch network architecture and designs for data and voice (e.g., WAN/SD-WAN, Spine-Leaf vs. Core-Distribution-Edge, Cloudflare etc.).
• Working knowledge of application containerization technologies (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
