Role Description
The IT Manager will be the go-to resource for all store and digital technology needs across the brand. This role bridges restaurant operations and digital systems, ensuring smooth integration with third-party delivery platforms, timely menu updates, efficient troubleshooting for store-level technology, optimizing IT systems and effective project management for digital initiatives such as mobile app development. The ideal candidate has both technical acumen and strong communication skills to support internal teams, vendors, and store operators.
Key Responsibilities
Third-Party Delivery Platform Integration
Manage and maintain integrations with platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, Ritual, Skip the Dishes, etc.
Coordinate onboarding for new stores and vendors, ensuring accuracy in POS and delivery menus.
Troubleshoot order flow, payment, and menu syncing issues between POS, aggregator portals, and delivery platforms.
Monitor and analyze integration performance and recommend improvements.
Set up approved marketing promos in the apps
Menu & Pricing Updates
Oversee centralized updates for menus across POS, brand website, app, and delivery platforms.
Ensure pricing, promotions, and seasonal items are reflected accurately across all digital channels.
Partner with Marketing and Operations teams to implement updates according to campaign timelines.
Store Technology Troubleshooting & Support
Provide first-level technical support for store hardware (POS systems, printers, KDS screens, tablets, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Escalate and coordinate with vendors for higher-level issues or repairs.
Document and maintain tech troubleshooting guides for store teams.
Digital Project Management
Act as the internal project lead for the development and rollout of the brand's mobile app and web ordering platform.
Coordinate with external development partners, designers, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback loops between stores, operations, and developers.
Track and report project progress to leadership.
Process & Documentation
Maintain an updated knowledge base for store-level technology processes.
Develop SOPs for delivery integrations, menu updates, and digital product launches.
Identify and recommend technology improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Technical & App Development Understanding
Familiarity with mobile app development lifecycle (native iOS/Android and cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter).
Understanding of APIs and how apps integrate with POS systems, third-party delivery platforms, loyalty programs, and payment systems.
Awareness of UI/UX principles for guest-facing applications.
Ability to communicate app feature requirements clearly to developers and vendors.
Experience with testing, bug tracking, and quality assurance for mobile/web applications.
Industry & System Knowledge
Knowledge of restaurant technology ecosystems (POS, KDS, payment systems, online ordering).
Familiarity with third-party delivery aggregator portals and integrations.
Understanding of loyalty and CRM systems in a restaurant context.
Project & Process Skills
Experience managing technology projects from concept to launch.
Ability to gather requirements, create documentation, and maintain project timelines.
Skilled in Agile or other iterative development methodologies.
Proficient with tools like Asana, Trello, Jira, and Google Workspace.
Education & Experience
2-5 years in a technology, IT support, or digital operations role (restaurant or retail industry preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Relevant certifications such as Google Project Management, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or app development coursework are a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
