Position: Information Security - Risk analyst
Location: Mostly remote, occasionally in office in Toronto
Job Type: Contract (Contract to hire)

Our Toronto-based client, consistently ranked as one of Canada\'s top employers, is looking for an Information Security Risk Analyst. They are a large manager of commercial real estate in North America with a portfolio comprising of 68 landmark properties.

The HM is looking for someone who has done full cycle 3rd party vendor risks assessments as an independent consultant. Full cycle 3rd party risk/security risk audit experience including providing Risk Grading experience. Risk assessments, SOX2, ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

- Understand Information Security risks pertinent to the organization\'s business goals and work with various departments to identify, measure, monitor, and report on risk based on information assets
- Develop, document, and communicate risk mitigation strategies to risk owners; document and monitor the implementation of security controls and adjust risk rating accordingly
- Develop, maintain, and report on KRIs, KPIs and SLAs related to Information Security programs
- Implement and operate risk and governance technology tools and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the practice
- Contribute to the development of new Information Security policies; ensure all existing policies and related documents are up to date
- Provide support for internal and external audits, including the collection of requested artifacts, review and prioritization of findings and recommendations
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging trends in Information Security risks and threat vectors; apply new techniques in-line with overall Information Security objectives and risk tolerance of the organization
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop strategies and implementation plans to enforce Information Security requirements and address identified risks
- Act as the primary author for risk and governance reports to highlight risk posture of the organization, mitigations and recommendations
