Available Shifts

:

- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

- Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00AM

- Friday to Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Compensation:

$18.50 - $34.00 depending on experience and certifications

About Red River Mega Coats



Red River Mega Coats is Manitoba's premier industrial coatings facility, offering galvanizing, powder coating, wet painting, and duplexing services--all under one roof. Established in 2022 as part of Red River Galvanizing Inc., our state-of-the-art facility is equipped to handle materials up to 65 feet long, providing comprehensive and environmentally sustainable coating solutions for commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications.

Position Summary



We are looking for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for applying protective coatings to a variety of metal products using spray equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in powder coating and/or liquid painting and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



Coating Application:

Apply powder or liquid paint using airless, electrostatic, and other painting equipment using prescribed procedures and specifications.

Quality Control:

Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity, coverage, and adherence to quality standards. Make necessary touch-ups and corrections.

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and clean spray equipment, booths, and other tools, ensuring proper functioning and longevity.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE to maintain a safe working environment.

Record Keeping:

Complete job cards, track materials used, and report issues or delays to management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other production team members and departments to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.

Qualifications



Experience:

Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial painting experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with paint systems, surface prep techniques, and safety protocols in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Attention to Detail:

Strong focus on producing high-quality finishes with consistent results.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.

Certifications:

Red Seal Endorsement, NACE, or other certifications would be a significant asset.
