Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter/Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying paint and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Coating/blasting equipment, various blast media options, surface prep standards, blast PPE, and profile measurement. Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers. Able to read and understand manufacturer's specs to ensure paint is the proper consistency and viscosity Mix paints and other materials according to specifications for optimal results. Inspect finished work for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working in industrial environments. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role is preferred. Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety standards. Ability to operate painting equipment effectively and safely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation of materials or equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
