We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an

Industrial Painter

/

Auto Body Prep Apprentice

. This position offers hands-on experience in surface preparation, coating applications, with opportunities for growth in both industrial and auto body sectors.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and applying primers. Mix and apply paints, coatings, and sealers using spray guns, brushes, or rollers. Mask and tape areas not to be painted. Apply body fillers and sand smooth for automotive refinishing. Inspect finished surfaces for quality and uniformity. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Collaborate with senior technicians and learn advanced techniques.
Skills:

- Experience in industrial painting or a similar role

- Experience sandblasting

- Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and their applications

- Ability to use hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes

- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting painting equipment

- Proficiency in operating a forklift or crane is desirable
