Overview

We are seeking a experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various industrial components and structures, ensuring quality and durability. This role requires mechanical knowledge, familiarity with power tools, hand tools, overhead cranes, and experience working within a manufacturing environment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality production processes while developing technical skills in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary Operate spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply coatings accurately Use power tools and other equipment when necessary for surface preparation or repairs Utilize cranes and forklifts for moving large or heavy components safely Conduct inspections of painted surfaces to ensure quality standards are met Follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with assembly and machining tasks as needed within the production line Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper storage of painting supplies and tools Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste

Qualifications

Prior experience in industrial painting or manufacturing preferred Mechanical knowledge related to machinery, assembly, and machining processes Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during surface preparation and coating application Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a fast-paced setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
