If you are a self motivated, accountable and mechanically inclined candidate, looking for a stable full time job with Benefits package, wanting to work in supportive environment where the work is diverse and challenging, this opportunity is for youPrimary Responsibilities:Disassemble heavy duty equipment and sub-components using hand tools (hammer, wrenches, crowbars) and power tools (impact wrench, jacks, presses, grinders)Handle machinery and equipment using overhead crane (use of basic rigging and hoisting)Assess condition of equipment and make recommendations for repair on worn componentsAssemble heavy duty equipment and sub-componentsComfortable installing bearings, seals, o-rings, sprockets, sheaves, belts, drive chains, gearboxes and other common mechanical componentsIndependently diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair machine tools (lathes, milling machines and other production or facility equipment)Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, levels and plumb lines.Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsRead and interpret component and assembly blueprints; document and fill out inspection reports on work completedOther duties as assigned by managers.Full time hours: 40 per weekWork Remotely

• Millwright: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Millwright ticket (preferred)
• hoisting and rigging training (preferred)
• Red Seal or equivalent certification (required)
