VARIPERM is a class leading service and supply company specializing in sand control engineering, completion and work-over tools and cased hole fishing services.

And that\xe2\x80\x99s what we do: our customized sand control solutions allow us to respond quickly to the ever-changing variability of our customers vertical and horizontal well operations.

With our headquarters in Calgary, and manufacturing facilities in Leduc, we also have field offices in Swift Current, Brooks, Lloydminster, and Provost Alberta.

We are looking for a Millwright with experience in a an industrial manufacturing setting. 4th year apprentices will be considered for this position.

Department: Manufacturing, Leduc

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; some overtime as required

The successful candidates will be able to:

• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied
• Work according to company mandates for communication, meetings and projects.
• Responsible for effective record keeping, filing and other administrative duties as required
• Ensuring all work areas are clean and organized
• Participate in training and safety meetings as required
• Other duties as required

• Knowledgeable in basic computer applications and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Minimum three years of shop experience

• Good physical fitness, able to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Forklift and overhead crane training or experience an asset

You must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50lbs, and lift over 50lbs with the help of other workers, forklift, and/or overhead hoist. There will be exposure to fine dust and airborne particles; high noise levels.

Pay is dependent on experience. We offer employer paid benefits and an RRSP matching program to eligible employees.
