Millwright Supports daily operations, providing electrical and technical input to ensure efficient, safe running of packaging lines Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Engineering & Maintenance projects including, new equipment procurement/integration and continuous improvement Initiatives
- Support production floor by: troubleshoot system issues, repair packaging equipment and, perform regular preventative maintenance.
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of safe working practices with respect to operation of packaging equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright license (433A) or 2nd/3rd year Millwright Apprentice is considered an asset.
- Experience as a Machine Operator or technician running complex packaging equipment (preferably in the pharmaceutical or food packing industry).
- Technical knowledge and experience with respect to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and HVAC.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
