Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Operational Analytics, the Industrial Engineer has primary responsibility to Nova Scotia Health, to support the mission, vision and strategic directions by researching, designing, developing and evaluating effective and efficient solutions to process and system design challenges involving patients, physicians, staff, equipment, technology and organizational structure that require analysis and service/process/system re-design. Expertise in the performance improvement methodologies, project management and change management techniques applied to solving complex problems is at the core of the Industrial Engineers' role. The Industrial Engineer works in collaboration and partnership with NSH care and service teams, staff, and leadership in the development, management, execution and evaluation of NSH strategic initiatives as well as process improvement initiatives to achieve the best outcomes in health care program and service delivery, safe care and continuous improvement to meet or exceed all accreditation requirements.This position utilizes a hybrid and remote workplace model and is eligible for work from home privileges.
