Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Operational Analytics, the Industrial Engineer has primary responsibility to Nova Scotia Health, to support the mission, vision and strategic directions by researching, designing, developing and evaluating effective and efficient solutions to process and system design challenges involving patients, physicians, staff, equipment, technology and organizational structure that require analysis and service/process/system re-design. Expertise in the performance improvement methodologies, project management and change management techniques applied to solving complex problems is at the core of the Industrial Engineers' role. The Industrial Engineer works in collaboration and partnership with NSH care and service teams, staff, and leadership in the development, management, execution and evaluation of NSH strategic initiatives as well as process improvement initiatives to achieve the best outcomes in health care program and service delivery, safe care and continuous improvement to meet or exceed all accreditation requirements.This position utilizes a hybrid and remote workplace model and is eligible for work from home privileges. Candidates can live and work from anywhere in the province, with travel required only as necessary.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Engineering from a recognized University required
• Must be registered with Engineers Nova Scotia and be licensed as a P.Eng or EIT or be eligible to do so.
• Appropriate licensure/membership in professional organizations
• Master's level preparation in Health Services Administration, Business Administration or a related program an asset
• Minimum three years' experience in Industrial Engineering
• Project Management Professional certification an asset
• Change Management Certification (i.e. Prosci ADKAR) an asset
• Demonstrates a high level of Industrial Engineering technical expertise
• Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise
• Demonstrates a high level of decision making and problem solving skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management, program planning, and strategic planning
