We are currently looking for a Full-Time Industrial Electrician to provide critical support in reducing press production down time, implementing, and maintaining electrical programs, preventive maintenance of equipment, and effective troubleshooting and repair of equipment.As a proven experienced electrician, you will troubleshoot and install electrical wiring, electronic components, industrial automation and robotics systems, PLCs and various types of instrumentation.We have been driving innovation since 1976. • As a proven experienced electrician, you will troubleshoot and install

• Electrical wiring
• Electronic components
• Industrial automation
• Robotics Systems
• PLCs
• Various other types of instrumentation.

When your expertise drives us.

• Industrial Electrician License 442A / 309A
• Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience; (experience in a printing environment an asset)
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and technical knowledge
• Knowledge of common reasons for electrical failures and the steps necessary to correct malfunctions
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair tools and equipment used in dissembling and reassembling mechanical and electrical equipment
• Able to read and understand equipment schematics
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• High initiative and ability to work with low supervision
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift heavy objects (max. 50 lbs), walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labour
• Exceptional attention to detail and good command of the English language (read, write, speak) with respect to:

• understanding and following all verbal and written instructions
• completing paperwork and requisitioning of materials accurately and efficiently
• complying with safety procedures and processes
• Proven organizational skills with a commitment to quality and safety
• Experience in a printing plant is a plus but not mandatory.
