The incumbent works in a high performing team that can analyze, troubleshoot, and repairing broken equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks, continuous improvement & project related tasks in electrical as well as general maintenance capacitiesShifts Available:This position is scheduled as a condensed work week, Monday -Thursday (10:00am to 8:30pm), however may require occasionally being available outside of these hours.Salary: Starts at $34.68Duties & Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Always work safely to protect the well-being of yourself, your team, and those around you.\xc2\xb7 Monitor key performance indicators and strive to achieve or exceed performance goals.\xc2\xb7 Fix equipment breakdowns to minimize impact on operations.\xc2\xb7 Prioritize work in accordance with business priorities and complete work by scheduled due dates.\xc2\xb7 Prepare documentation and records to facilitate communication and planning.\xc2\xb7 Completed assigned work on-time according to schedule.\xc2\xb7 Develop and complete projects to drive continuous improvement.\xc2\xb7 Work collaboratively with other maintenance professionals as a part of a team.\xc2\xb7 Actively build positive team spirit and engagement through leadership.\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate willingness to assist the business requirements as they change.\xc2\xb7 Should be flexible to adjust schedule with prior notice.Qualification StandardsQualification or significant work experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright.\xc2\xb7 Proven record for complying with safety requirements, and ability to build a culture of safety among subordinates and peers.\xc2\xb7 Consideration will also be given to candidates possessing an Electrician - Construction & Maintenance (309A) or an Industrial Electrician (442A) Certificate of Qualification, but these individuals must have supplementary experience or qualifications in the maintenance of mechanical equipment.\xc2\xb7 Experience with mechanical maintenance, repairs, and inspections.\xc2\xb7 Solid working experience of mechanical drives\xc2\xb7 Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\xc2\xb7 Can make solid decisions quickly based on limited information.\xc2\xb7 Experience managing time and budgets.\xc2\xb7 Ability and willingness to build rapport and trust with others.\xc2\xb7 Experience with repairing/maintaining some of the following types of systems or equipment:o Conveyorso Hydraulic and pneumatic systemso PLC systems and automation controlso Electrical systems, 600V or lesso Materials handling equipment (MHE) including electric lift truckso HVAC mechanical systems and building automationo Dock doors and dock levelers\xc2\xb7 Basic Plumbing\xc2\xb7 Fabrication and Welding\xc2\xb7 Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving\xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively\xc2\xb7 Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and various technical drawings\xc2\xb7 Highly motivated to the team\'s success as well as own successYour benefits of working for RONA inc. :By joining the RONA inc. family, you\'ll enjoy many benefits, such as:
