This includes related sights and smells. Regular food industry rules and PPE requirements apply.* We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. This is a temporary full time employment roll to support a specific customer/location. Additional employment opportunities with Trimat may be available after the term of the temporary placement. This is an afternoon shift position, from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday, for the duration of July and August. The ideal candidate has prior food industry experience, but it isn\'t required. Ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. Additional mechanical skills are an asset. Dual ticketed Journeymen who are effective, available, and dependable are considered top tier. Must have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various machinery issues. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair machines and electrical systems on a client to client basis. - Troubleshoot, inspect, and adjust electrical components and systems. - Use hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools to complete repairs. - Troubleshoot and repair/replace electrical controls. - Read and work from drawings, diagrams, and manuals to determine work procedures. - Perform failure analysis to identify root causes and determine corrective actions and repairs. - Complete and submit all work related paperwork in a timely manner. - Perform work safely and professionally at all times. Qualifications: - Journeyman Electrician certification with minimum 2 years experience. - Mechanical skillset and understanding of machine components is an asset - Proven troubleshooting and problem solving abilities. - Familiarity with electrical components, PLC\'s, and CNC machines. - Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams. - Dual tickets are an asset. - Must be willing to support other trades if required. - Must have own basic tools.
