Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Butcher / Meat Processing Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deboning and trimming meat products with precision and adherence to food safety standards. This role requires strong knife skills, mechanical knowledge, and a thorough understanding of food safety protocols to ensure high-quality product output. The position offers an opportunity to work in a clean, safe environment dedicated to producing top-quality meat products for the food industry.

Responsibilities

Debone and trim various cuts of meat following established specifications and safety guidelines Operate cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas in compliance with HACCP and sanitation protocols Package finished products according to company standards and food safety regulations Assist with quality control checks throughout the processing line Follow all safety procedures related to meat processing, including proper handling of knives and mechanical equipment Document production activities and ensure traceability of products in line with food industry standards

Requirements

Prior experience in meat cutting, food processing, or manufacturing preferred Knowledge of HACCP, OSHA, sanitation, and food safety regulations required Strong knife skills and familiarity with meat trimming techniques Mechanical knowledge beneficial for operating and troubleshooting processing equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Understanding of packaging processes within a food production setting Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions Ability to work safely around machinery and adhere to all safety protocols in a food processing plant
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
