We are currently seeking a primary Chef to join our team who is positive and proactive. The individual in this role must have prior experience in a professional kitchen, as well as management experience, advanced knowledge of the culinary arts, be willing to work on Sundays, and have the ability to work a flexible schedule. The ideal person will be good at working with others, thoroughly enjoy the food industry and have a passion for creating tasty dishes.
Responsibilities:
Work in a restaurant, hotel, or other food service establishment.
Manage a group of kitchen staff.
Manage a group of wait staff.
Create and implement a marketing plan for your restaurant.
Research and understand new culinary techniques and food trends.
Train and discipline kitchen staff.
Train and supervise wait staff.
Follow health laws regarding food preparation and storage.
Make sure that the restaurant follows health laws regarding food preparation and storage.
