We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and accounting, with proficiency in TaxCycle. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise will help clients navigate their financial obligations while maximizing their potential refunds.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file federal income tax returns for individuals.
Review financial records, including income statements and documentation of expenses.
Analyze clients' financial situations to provide tailored tax advice.
Assist clients with budgeting and financial planning to optimize tax outcomes.
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Experience
Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or in a related role within the financial services industry is preferred.
Proficiency in TaxCycle, Excel, Word, and professional Email.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Familiarity with auditing processes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple client accounts.
