Income Tax Preparer
Job Description
Cambridge Financial Services has been serving individuals and small businesses in Atlantic Canada for 35 years. We provide a wide array of Bookkeeping and Accounting services with an emphasis on Corporate, Personal, and Trust Tax returns. Cambridge is seeking two personal tax preparers with at least 5 - 10 years of experience in a professional setting, with excellent working knowledge of the Canadian Tax laws to prepare all types of personal tax returns. The successful individual will be motivated to do quality work and genuinely have the best interest of our clients in mind. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Preparing all types of personal tax returns, using (Cantax) tax program (training provided for Cantax)
- Responding to client issues and recording information provided by clients
- Preparing HST returns for Sole- Proprietors
- Very strong attention to detail
- Reliable and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Always ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
Job type: 2 Full-time/ Seasonal (February /2023 - May/June 2023)
Hours: 9-5, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $ 19 - $22 an hour based on experience.
Training in early February.
