The the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns, will depend on the Tax Preparer. What you get to do every day

- Produce error free data into Tax software application

- Carry other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

- Handle clients with incoming calls to delegate tax questions and set appointments

- Manually produce transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

- Touch base with clients to gather relevant information/documents

- Resolve and invoice for form preparation fees
- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

- 1+ year experience preparing tax returns

- Command of Income Tax Accounting

- Solid understanding of Cantax

- Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel

- Can work independently with minimal supervision

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
