GymZone Gymnastics is seeking an individual that will successfully implement an inclusive gymnastics-based, recreational outlet that caters to neuro-diverse children/adults with unique developmental & intellectual exceptionalities.



The successful candidate will assist with:

Sourcing speciality items, equipment upgrades and training required for the program Developing safe, active and inclusive program curriculums for different levels - incorporating progressions to facilitate ongoing learning and success Integrating inclusive classes into the current program schedule Conducting assessments to recommend individuals for the program Promoting the program through various marketing strategies Coaching/leading the majority of the program classes Once established, training more of our coaches to help coach and grow these programs

Qualifications:



University or college graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program.
Graduate of/background in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Physical and Health Education, Fitness & Leisure Management, Health Promotion Experience Coaching Athletes with intellectual exceptionalities Passion and experience working with children/athletes with disabilities or children/adults on the spectrum Non-violent crisis intervention prevention Or be willing to obtain
Rebound Therapy Certification Or be willing to obtain
Must have or be willing to obtain NCCP Full Foundations or Comp 1 Certification with Risk Management and Risk in Sport, Ethical Coaching Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization NCCP Comp 1 Trampoline, an asset High Five PHCD Certification an asset Submit or agree to a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check Exceptional energy, customer service and communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
