Job Title: Inclusion Support Worker

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Worker to join our team, focusing on providing specialized support and assistance to children. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development, particularly in relation to inclusion and diversity. This role involves working closely with children who may require additional support due to social and emotional regulation of emotions ensuring they have equal access to learning and play opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Individualized Support:

Provide one-on-one support to a child who requires additional assistance, adapting activities and interactions to meet their unique needs and abilities.

Inclusive Environment:

Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and included.

3.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other staff members, including educators, therapists, and caregivers, to develop and implement individualized support plans.

4.

Observation and Assessment:

Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor the progress and development and identifying areas for additional support.

5.

Communication:

Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on progress and any concerns or developments.

6.

Resource Management:

Utilize available resources, materials, and assistive technologies to enhance the learning and development.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $16.83-$27.33 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
