As the Inclusion Diversity Equity Accessibility (IDEA) Specialist you will assist with the review, research, development, implementation, and communication of a range of IDEA programs, processes, resources and tools. This role focuses on delivery, support and continuous improvement of IDEA programs/processes and works closely with the HR team to ensure alignment to business strategies.

How you will create impact:

  • Collaborate and support all partners on IDEA tools, resources, processes, procedures, guidelines, and program interpretations.
  • Manage the governance of IDEA groups, including annual review of membership, applications for new members, and ensuring governance is being adhered to.
  • Participate in working committees for IDEA initiatives and projects, update IDEA guidelines, processes and procedures.
  • Execute on small to medium sized projects, including gathering requirements and recommendations new resources and tools.
  • Ensure consistent partnering with HR Communications and Program teams to align on all messaging, including IDEA inbox, internal Intranet (Source), Yammer and Leader Portal.
  • Review of existing data to inform IDEA progress and strategies provide report findings to IDEA team.

To join our team:
  • You have post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related discipline.
  • You have a certificate in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and/or Reconciliation
  • Having a deep Understanding of IDEA concepts and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge in legislation impacting IDEA (i.e. Human Rights, Health & Safety)
  • Having project management skills and understanding of change management concepts an asset.
  • This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Qu\xc3\xa9bec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

  • Expected Salary Range: $57,375 - $95, 625
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
