Job title: Incident ManagerOur client manufactures Fare Collection devices for the transportation industry. The Incident Manager assumes the responsibility of secondary support for the Fare Collection software products. Dedicated to delivering superior service to both internal and external stakeholders, the Incident Manager orchestrates the restoration of regular service operations swiftly to mitigate disruptions to business activities.TalentWorld is recruiting an Incident Manager in Toronto for one of our partners.

Salary range starts at $62,000 and higher Based on Experience
Regular Monday - Friday work week with occasional evening/weekend requirements
Full-Time Permanent Position with benefits
Location: on-site in Toronto
Incident Manager ResponsibilitiesMonitoring incidents to uphold Service Level Agreements.
Resolving complex software issues and inquiries by service guidelines.
Gathering precise data on customer issues and documenting them using standard tools.
Acting as the primary point of contact for Major Incidents.
Utilizing various software tools to diagnose and analyze software issues.
Improving software troubleshooting tools and procedures.
Demonstrating proficiency across technical functions and integrating disciplines.
Offering software-related support to customers as per warranty and service contract obligations.
Incident Manager QualificationsCustomer-Centric Approach
Analytical Skills
Technical Proficiency: Has prior experience and expertise across the following technical areas:
OS: Windows (Server and Client) System Administration, Linux
Networking: WLAN/LAN, VPN
Programming: C/C++, Java, Java Script
Database: Oracle Database Usage and Administration (SQL)
Previous experience in Service/Help Desk is preferred.
