Works closely with all relevant buyers, category teams, buyers and freight carriers to deliver a superior level of customer service (retail operations, RSCs and any other relevant areas)

Here\'s where you\'ll be focusing:

Lead the coordinator group that monitors the movement of goods to ensure on-time arrival, coordinating with customs, and recording issues that impact KPIs.

Partner with a highly skilled specialist group to optimize processes for the coordinator group to continuously improve the day-to-day performance and visibility.

Accountable for the accuracy of freight conditions in SAP, TMS, and I-Trade.

Lead by example a culture that focuses on network ownership and prioritizes customer service. Build out a KPI culture where we can compare coordinator effectiveness across the country.

Coach team members on TMS best practises and P44 utilization to ensure our inbound program is best in class for network visibility and the team is maximizing our technology.

Accountable for the supplier components of backhaul management and ensure we are effectively utilizing the Sobeys fleet.

Accountable for proper shipment optimization with the RSC\'s and Replenishment teams so that 3pl loads are effectively cubed and routed.

What you have to offer:

Minimum 8 years progressive management experience in inventory control, transportation/ supply chain experience including international freight experience

Relevant designation/ credentials in logistics, supply chain, and/ or transportation (CITT, CPIM or PMAC, ERP)
