Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Inbound Manager, the Inbound Clerk will have the following responsibilities:Provide administrational support for the Inbound team
Communicate with suppliers, corporate and retail locations as required to receive or supply information
Book appointments for incoming shipments from manufacturers via email and telephone
Prepare receiving tickets for Inbound department in order to receive goods on incoming loads
Reconcile receiving reports to ensure accuracy
Report any load discrepancies or problems via the NSDLD form
Communicate with the Purchasing department
Update container list and communicate with transport company relating to the delivery of containers and pick up of empty containers
Call out empty trailers
File receiving packages
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Proficient knowledge of department systems and procedures; WMS systems and procedures; Retail system
Experienced in the use of MS Office, data analysis and generation of reports
Able to multi-task and solve complex problems
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
