Key Responsibilities
Work directly with clients to collect necessary information and documentation
Draft and prepare immigration applications, including completing complex legal forms, writing submission letters, and gathering supporting documents
Liaise with clients and government authorities in a professional manner
Review and proofread forms, correspondence, and supporting materials for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
Stay current with changes to immigration legislation, regulations, and procedures
Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, and case management platforms in a timely and professional manner
Manage case timelines from initiation to finalization, providing regular updates to clients and following up on pending applications
Monitor the status of applications to ensure all deadlines are met
Analyze client documents and research applicable processes and requirements for various temporary and permanent immigration applications
Utilize immigration software and case management systems effectively
Perform general office and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the immigration field
College or university certificate/diploma (required)
ICCRC or Paralegal License (asset, but not mandatory)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
Proficiency with MS Office and immigration case management software
