About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Immigration Services, the Immigration Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Immigration Consultant, facilitating the immigration support and services processes for international trained physicians. The Immigration Assistant will exercise judgment, initiative, accuracy, speed and knowledge, and organizational and problem-solving skills; functions as the primary point of contact for international, compiles personal and immigration-related information, processes requests, gathers and organizes the necessary documents and information for immigration-related procedures, handles routine correspondence; enters and maintains data in MAP and provides other administrative support as required.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Grade 12 Graduate of a one year Business diploma OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, required Minimum of 1 year of related administrative experience required; preferably in human resources and/or immigration Excellent attention to detail Effective communication, customer service, problem solving and decision making skills Ability to draft, format and edit office correspondence Excellent organization skills and accuracy for processing sensitive employee information The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, in large volume, in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to needs Well developed organizational, time management and daily planning skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, and human resource information system (preferably SuccessFactors) Customer Service - actively listens and conveys understanding of customers' requests so their needs can be anticipated and satisfied.

Compensation and Benefits

$24.26 - $30.32 hourly

$47,305 - $59,131 annually
