Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Seasonal Ice Cream Dream Team! As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will play a key role in creating a positive customer experience by providing excellent service and serving delicious ice cream treats. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced and fun environment, and let's be totally honest...We do really have the best customers...how can anyone be upset when they have our ice cream in their hands?!

Responsibilities

- Scoop and serve ice cream to customers with a friendly and positive attitude

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have

- Upsell additional toppings, cones, or other menu items to enhance the customer's experience

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ice cream station and work area

- Follow proper food safety and hygiene guidelines during food preparation and handling

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately

Requirements

- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and willingness to follow proper procedures

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

-Ability to work in extreme heat and follow health & safety guidelines, especially regarding personal safety in heat
