Four All Ice Cream is looking for an experienced

production prep/pastry cook

to join our Small Batch Ice Cream Production Team as an Ice Cream Maker. We are obsessed with hand-crafting the best tasting, highest quality ice cream possible using local and seasonal ingredients.

Requirements:



2+ years of kitchen experience, food production or pastry experience preferred Current Safe Food Handling Certificate Full-time availability 30 - 40 hours/week Proficient in written and oral English

Scope of production work can include:



Preparing ice cream packaging Batch recipe preparation using digital scale (ice creams/sorbets, cookies, cakes, sauces, brownies etc.) Operating vat-pasteurizing equipment to cook ice cream mixes Operating commercial ice cream machine Hand packing extruded ice cream into packaging Making ice cream novelties such as ice cream bars, sandwiches, and ice cream cakes Assisting with Inventory Management, Quality Control & Product Testing Equipment set-up/tear-down, cleaning/sterilizing and maintenance Maintaining a food safe kitchen environment Completing regulatory documentation Fulfilling regulatory cleaning

Food Safety Compliance



We are an OMAFA (Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs) inspected facility and compliance is our priority. As a licensed operator we are responsible for ensuring we consistently produce safe products and operate our plant to meet all regulatory requirements as outlined under the Milk Act.

Strong understanding of food safety principles and sanitation practices is necessary

. Product traceability is paramount to our recall program.

Diligent attention to accurately completing documentation is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 37.5 per week
