Position Description

COWS is looking for an Ice Cream Maker to join our current ice cream team. This person will enjoy working in a team environment and be excited about producing COWS quality Ice Cream.

Job duties

Measure, mix and freeze ice cream ingredients to create various ice cream flavours according to COWS recipe guides Operate ice cream making machinery Work closely with other members of the Ice Cream team Clean and sanitize equipment and Ice Cream Production area to prevent contamination Put finished ice cream away in the freezer Hand picking ice cream orders in freezer for shipments across Canada Work with Quality to utilize and maintain proper food safe procedures Other duties as needed

Qualifications

Production or manufacturing experience considered an asset Minimum education of High School

Working Conditions

Fast paced environment Heavy lifting up to 30lbs Requires lots of time in the freezer.

Working in a -35 degree environment.

Clothes for freezer provided Repetitive Tasks

Schedule:

Monday to Friday; 7am - 4pm
