Watch our Director of Cyber Security, Angela Mathies, discuss our exciting work and why she chose Sobeys: https://vimeo.com/696132783/f544c1efaaYou are a builder, influencer, and change agentIn this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading a team of IAM Engineering team members that are skilled and knowledgeable building an IAM strategy, architecture, and implementation of IAM products and solutions. You will provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure the IAM Engineering team designs, implements, and maintains IAM solutions (PAM, IGA, SSO, MFA etc) that align with business needs and security requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand the various business requirements and translate those requirements into a variety of best in breed IAM solutions.In addition, you will be accountable to ensure continuous evolution of each of the IAM solutions. This key function will ensure that once the solutions are deployed, they continue to evolve by enabling new features and / or functions. Plus, you will work with the business to enable new roles and continue to onboard various applications across the enterprise. You will also be accountable for L3 operational issues and will work closely with the L1/L2 IAM Operations team to solve complex identity issues.Lastly, you are an exceptional leader who drives for continuous improvements. You will possess the skills to develop KPI\'s and metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of the IAM Engineering program.   • Manage the Identity & Access Management strategy, architecture, and design across the enterprise, which includes proactively identifying process improvement opportunities and work prioritization.
  • Passionate about providing development opportunities to team members, including the identification of training requirements, creation and implementation of appropriate development plans.
  • Enjoys working in collaboration with our Cyber Security & IAM teams to constantly improve and evolve our enterprise Identity and Access Management program to be best of breed.
  • Ensure successful transition of IAM solutions to operational teams through prioritization, early engagement, operational impact assessments, training, and acceptance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and communicate proficiently to technical and business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Oversees the end-to-end processes and standards for identity creation and use across the enterprise.
What you have to offer:
  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in computer science, engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5-7 years of industry experience working in Identity & Access Management environment.
  • 3-4 years in an Identity & Access Management Engineering role.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to senior leadership.
  • Extensive experience leading large, diverse teams (coaching, mentoring, guidance and support, creating an engaging work environment).
  • Experience with IAM tools and technologies, including but not limited to, IAM platforms (Sailpoint, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, ManageEngine, CyberArk. RSA, OKTA etc), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), is required.
  • CIAM, CAMS, CIGE, or similar industry certification, is preferred.
The salary range for this position in [British Columbia] is [$90,666K - $125,000K per year].
