You will be responsible
for business development with agents, engineering firms, contractors, and distributors primarily in Western Canada. Territory assignments may be adjusted over time. As requested by your supervisor or colleagues, you may regularly travel outside your designated territory (USA) for client visits, meetings, and representation.
The head office is in Richmond, Quebec. Therefore, the work is done from home and on the road. More details about the traveling requirements will be discussed in the interview.
Key Tasks :
Promote products to engineering firms and contractors ;
Grow sales through agents/distributors to meet targets ;
Select equipment tailored to client needs and prepare quotes ;
Organize training sessions ;
Attend trade shows ;
Provide post-sale technical support to clients ;
Handle inbound client inquiries ;
Drive product demand by engaging end-users and partners ;
Identify and report market opportunities/threats to management ;
Foster collaboration between clients and internal teams ;
Document and escalate major client complaints/feedback promptly ;
Support new product development and launches ;
Basic Requirements :
3-5 years of experience in hydronic sales (B2B preferred) ;
General mechanical/electrical knowledge (ability to read technical specs) ;
Fluent English 5/5 ;
Exceptional communication and active listening skills ;
Self-driven with strong time-management abilities.
Strong assets :
Engineering certification/degree (technician or engineer) ;
HVAC sales experience ;
Field-oriented mindset with readiness for regular travel ;
Intermediate French 3/5.
