Essential Responsibilities:

• Support customer 24/7 with event troubleshooting
• Support customer with HVDC line yearly maintenance preparation and execution
• Write quality and comprehensive reports to document events, root cause analysis and maintenances
• Responsible for performing on site commissioning, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and troubleshooting on HVDC and HVAC systems.
• Perform and/or assist field work for commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting on HVDC installation and products including power electronic valves, switchgear equipment, cooling system and control systems. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.
• Management of long-term service project with a major Utilities
• Ability to Closeout of project deficiencies and Punchlist items
• Management of warranty and all after sales services. High degree of focus on RAM (Reliability Availability Maintainability) of major energy corridor project.
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Electrical Engineering
• Willing to be (re)located in St-Johns (Newfoundland) for three to five year timeframe.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• 5 years of relevant experience in Field Services & Engineering

Desired Skills:

• Strong Knowledge of power electronics equipment used in HVDC and/or FACTS installation
• Previous experience in HVDC commissioning
• Experience in maintenance and commissioning activity for control, protection & power electronic
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leader
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead
• Previous experience with GE LCC HVDC technology
• Previous experience with FACTS system maintenance would be a plus

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s Essentielles :

• Assistance client 24h/24 et 7j/7 avec d\xc3\xa9pannage d\'\xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements Aider le client avec la pr\xc3\xa9paration et l\'ex\xc3\xa9cution de la maintenance annuelle de la ligne HVDC
• R\xc3\xa9diger des rapports complets et de qualit\xc3\xa9 pour documenter les \xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements, l\'analyse des causes profondes et les maintenances.
• Responsable de la mise en service, de la maintenance, des r\xc3\xa9parations, de la remise \xc3\xa0 neuf et du d\xc3\xa9pannage sur site des syst\xc3\xa8mes HVDC et CVC.
• Effectuer et/ou assister les travaux sur le terrain pour la mise en service, la maintenance et le d\xc3\xa9pannage des installations et produits HVDC, notamment les vannes \xc3\xa9lectroniques de puissance, les \xc3\xa9quipements de commutation, les syst\xc3\xa8mes de refroidissement et les syst\xc3\xa8mes de contr\xc3\xb4le.
• Comprend tous les types de services de maintenance (pr\xc3\xa9ventifs et curatifs), g\xc3\xa8re les installations de maintenance et l\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie des services sur le terrain.
• Gestion d\'un projet de service \xc3\xa0 long terme avec un grand \xc3\xa9lectricien Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 combler les lacunes du projet et les \xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9ments de la liste de t\xc3\xa2ches Gestion de la garantie et de tous les services apr\xc3\xa8s-vente. Forte concentration sur la RAM (Reliability Availability Maintenability) d\'un grand projet de corridor \xc3\xa9nerg\xc3\xa9tique.
• Fait preuve de jugement pour prendre des d\xc3\xa9cisions ou r\xc3\xa9soudre des t\xc3\xa2ches ou des probl\xc3\xa8mes moyennement complexes dans les domaines de la gestion op\xc3\xa9rationnelle/produit, de la fabrication, de la technologie ou de l\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie.
• Prend une nouvelle perspective sur les solutions existantes.
• Utilise l\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience et l\xe2\x80\x99expertise techniques pour l\xe2\x80\x99analyse des donn\xc3\xa9es afin de soutenir les recommandations. Utilise plusieurs sources internes et externes limit\xc3\xa9es en dehors de sa propre fonction pour prendre des d\xc3\xa9cisions.

Qualifications/Exigences :

• Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at ou ma\xc3\xaetrise en g\xc3\xa9nie \xc3\xa9lectrique
• Dispos\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 \xc3\xaatre (re)localis\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 St-Johns (Terre-Neuve) pour une p\xc3\xa9riode de trois \xc3\xa0 cinq ans.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 voyager au niveau national et international selon les besoins 5 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience pertinente en services sur le terrain et en ing\xc3\xa9nierie

• Solide connaissance des \xc3\xa9quipements d\'\xc3\xa9lectronique de puissance utilis\xc3\xa9s dans les installations HVDC et/ou FACTS

• Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans les activit\xc3\xa9s de maintenance et de mise en service pour l\'\xc3\xa9lectronique de contr\xc3\xb4le, de protection et de puissance Solides comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication orale et \xc3\xa9crite. Excellent relationnel et leader

The salary range for this position is 86,800.00 - 108,500.00 Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience, their education, and the work location.
