We're looking for a HVAC Technician to join our Production team based in in Vancouver, BC. This individual will report to the Maintenance manager.

Job Overview:

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within our facility.

The role will also involve providing support for production lines, assets, equipment, and machinery, including repairs and performing preventive maintenance (PMs). Additionally, the technician will assist with plumbing tasks and general maintenance as needed to support the facility's overall operations.



You will have the opportunity to:



Keep our HVAC systems running smoothly through regular preventive maintenance and quick, effective, and heavy repairs. Play a critical role in supporting our production operations by maintaining and repairing essential equipment and machinery. This role offers variety--you'll also tackle plumbing and other general maintenance tasks to support the overall efficiency of our facility.

You will be a good fit if you have:



Must have a relevant certificate or license in HVAC maintenance and repair. A background in a food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced facility environment is a must. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, sourcing spare and faulty parts. repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC systems. Experience with a range of equipment, including heating and cooling piping systems, conveyors, pumps, and chains. The ability to read and understand complex technical documents like blueprints and schematics. A solid understanding of EPA regulations and electrical fundamentals. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong ability to diagnose issues efficiently. Someone who is a great team player but can also confidently manage tasks on their own. A Millwrighting ticket is considered a significant asset.
