Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a solid understanding of schematics and the ability to lead projects effectively while ensuring high-quality workmanship. This is not a paid per hour job its contract.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and heating systems. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system layouts and specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into new builds or renovations. Provide leadership on site when working with junior technicians or apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment inventory.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role within the industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems. Leadership skills to guide junior staff and manage projects effectively. Experience in construction environments is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
