Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, appliance repair, or construction is highly valued. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining safe and efficient climate control systems while adhering to safety standards and technical schematics.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity. Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting or leak repairs when necessary. Utilize welding techniques for repairs or custom modifications of HVAC components. Service boiler systems and other mechanical equipment associated with climate control systems. Repair appliances related to HVAC operations as needed. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed. Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades of HVAC infrastructure.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Experience working in construction or maintenance environments is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively. Valid certification or license in HVAC technology; additional certifications in plumbing or welding are a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
