Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Northern Comfort Solutions. At Northern Comfort Solutions we are committed to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems and providing excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, including heating, cooling, and refrigeration units. Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot system problems effectively. Weld and fabricate parts as necessary for repairs or installations. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed. Communicate with clients regarding system performance and recommended services. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.

Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with 5-10 years experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and system maintenance. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Licence/Certification

Ontario Gas (G2 or G1) (required) 308R - Sheet metal mechanic 313D - Refrigeration licence
